Membership in the Pittsfield Township Historical Society is open to all persons or organizations interested in preserving the past and making it meaningful for current and future generations.
The Society holds programs featuring guest speakers and/or trips to historic sites and museums. A quarterly newsletter keeps members up-to-date and features brief articles on historic topics. The Society also maintains this website.
Quarterly and annual board meetings are held at the Pittsfield Senior Citizens Center at 701 W. Ellsworth. For dates and time of meetings, please see Activities on this website, or contact Emily Salvette (see below).
The Pittsfield Township Historical Society is a tax-exempt organization under both federal and state law. All contributions to the society are tax deductible. The historical society currently is building an endowment to further the work of the society.
The historical society would appreciate your participation, contributions of historical documents and objects, as well as financial contributions to the endowment.
